As of ...Just wanted to say thanks for this writeup. As of 11 September 2013, this is still an issue and it just caught me out... took over 24 hours for my IAP to start working. Like Basil said, either make a call to Apple's servers and hide invalid IAP items, or hold your app for developer release until the IAP has a chance to propagate through the servers.

What I found most irritating was that Apple doesn't even have a "Item Currently Unavailable" message popup if the IAP turns out to be invalid; clicking on a button to purchase it will simply do nothing. It seems you have to be sure to handle this yourself.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00438846592824658096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2687820185167366196.post-49027595809981060762013-05-06T17:38:35.573-07:002013-05-06T17:38:35.573-07:00--

Upload the app to the market (the apk you upload needs to have the billing permission). Hit SAVE, NOT the PUBLISH button!
2. Create products
3. Add test google accounts (these google accounts can make purchases against your products)
4. Now, you can adb install your apk and iterate until it works :) (it needs to be signed with the same key as the one you uploaded, and have the same version number!)

Also, I was able to test the static responses without signing with my release key (using a debug key) on my HTC Incredible.Jim Strangehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04029955982247660947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2687820185167366196.post-33235203066824344522011-06-17T15:28:51.186-07:002011-06-17T15:28:51.186-07:00you should also look at http://restkit.org/

This time when I went, my daughter took almost 1 week to adjust to the time change and just to get back in routine with eating. At that point I was seriously wondering if it was worth it. No wonder, as people have multiple kids their frequncy of taking trips to India reduces.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09856494832029738811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2687820185167366196.post-27706323214080364882011-03-18T03:59:23.261-07:002011-03-18T03:59:23.261-07:00Great articleGreat articleUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09238697827579954679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2687820185167366196.post-26793410214715005932011-03-02T00:43:48.136-08:002011-03-02T00:43:48.136-08:00Nice guide.
